Emily discovered her passion when she started her career 20 years ago after she left her university's pre-law program and followed her 6th grade calling. Gaining experience and hands-on technical training via industry leaders from coast to coast has set Emily on her way to owning two successful salons in Traverse City, MI. The excitement and love for this industry eventually lead Emily to secure her beauty school teaching certificate in 2018 so she may share her experience and education with others who are eager to pursue this world of endless opportunities. As a single mother of 2 achieving student athletes and 1 successfully raised adult/child, Emily understands finding balance between work and family. She takes pride in setting an example for her children, her team, and her students that hard work, dedication, passion, faith, love, loyalty, and showing up even on your worst days leads to a beautiful and fulfilling life.
